Nike has faced a lot of criticism in recent years because of its policy of outsourcing production to underdeveloped countries like Vietnam. Despite having its headquarters in the United States, Nike produces practically all of its products in low-wage countries. Nike has been accused of using "sweatshop" labor practices to produce its clothes and footwear. The main charge is that young employees are underpaid for working long hours in bad circumstances. There have been numerous instances of physical abuse as well as exposure to poisons like toluene and acetone, chemical solvents that can be extremely harmful to one's health and even result in birth defects.

Although organizations like Nike will tout the strict codes of conduct in their workplaces, it is unknown whether these standards are enforced in underdeveloped countries. As the world exploded in fury over the company's alleged disrespect for its worldwide employees in the 1990s, Nike pledged to change the appalling working conditions. In 2007, as the world began to embrace "corporate responsibility," Nike released a list of its 700 factories globally so that consumers could confirm that it was adhering to its rules. Nike spokesman Lee Weinstein stated that the research "will advance the industry in addressing some of these chronic difficulties."

Despite its mistakes, Nike has undoubtedly aided some of the countries that need economic development the most. International welfare frequently exacerbates social problems in countries, yet worldwide economic integration frequently puts countries on the path to a greater standard of life. More than 450,000 people work in 150 factories owned by Nike's subcontractors in Asia. Nike made some errors that damaged the company's reputation and how consumers saw the brand. Nike is currently recognized on a global level as an aggressive, unscrupulous, and historically abusive manufacturer. The most important lesson from Nike is the need to accept responsibility for product development, care for personnel, and avoid mistreating people or resources in developing countries.

Walmart has become one of the largest retailers in the world. It is one of the most successful companies that run, helped, and feed employees on a global level. Walmart has grown to be the world's largest retailer in the world. Walmart has had a negative impact on business ethics and is known for violating labor laws and international bribery investigations all over the world. Walmart works hard to make trust a competitive advantage. Walmart said integrity builds trust in their business and they model the highest standards of ethics and compliance which helps maintain a culture of integrity.

According to CBSnews.com Wal-Mart stores Inc. will pay $135,540 for charges that broke child labor laws. Wal-Mart violated 24 violations that occurred in Arkansas, Connecticut, and New Hampshire where teenage workers operated hazardous equipment. Child labor law prohibits minors from operating hazardous equipment. Walmart is paying $283 million for a seven-year bribery investigation involving a business in Brazil, China, India, and Mexico. Wal-Mart operated without sufficient anti-corruption oversight at the company. The world's largest business allowed its subsidiaries to employ third-party companies who made payments that were bribes. I would advise as a possible solution to manage these conflicts. Make sure the children are over the age of 18 before operating a hazardous vehicle. The other issue regarding international bribery, I would check companies I do business with to make sure no money was used for bribery. Walmart conducts retail and e-commerce operations in 24 countries all around the world.

Walmart is one of the largest retailers and successful companies in the world. Walmart has had a negative impact on business ethics but still remains a successful business.
