31) Volume of the solution = 500 mL
Density = 1.08 g/mL
Thus –
Mass of the solution = (500 mL)(1.08 g/mL) = 540 g
This solution has 10% NaOH by mass, so amount needed to prepare this solution
= (540 g)(10/100)
= 54 g

32) From the given information –
Number of mols of NiCl2 = (0.0112 M)(0.134 L) = 0.00150 mol
Thus –
Number of mols of K3PO4 required = (0.00150 mol)((2/3) = 0.001 mol
Thus –
Volume of K3PO4 required = (0.001 mol) / (0.225 mol/L) = 0.0044 L = 4.4 mL

33) Amount of H2SO4 required to produce 15.0 g H2
