Your assignment is to select one of the approaches that you think is most important in studying cultures and discuss your reasons as to why. Communicating a Vision
    It is medical anthropologists who emphasizes on the life of the people for the purpose of healing. It’s the modern approaches used in the anthropological study of healthcare system used for learning the relationships between the cultural and social structures, the belief of the people with respect to the causes, course, care and cure along with prevention of diseases. It is India, where the concept of medical anthropology is wide practiced along with the practices and belief in disease-spirit for curing various diseases by the orthodox Hindus (Mitra, 1923).
Cultural Differences
    It is diseases such as small pox and cholera (Roy, 1927) which are treated with superstitious beliefs in India. It was the elite classes of the Hindu society who wanted to transform the superstitious beliefs which was arising out of sheer ignorance and implement scientific medicines for treatment of the people affected with small pox and cholera (Roy, 1927). Further, it was the dimension of tribal health population in India which lacked appropriate understanding. The tribal population called the Santals believed that the diseases were due to the cause of bacteria. They even believed in supernatural ways for curing various diseases. But it was very hard to identify the mutual perception with respect to the tribal health in India as there were presence of various transitional phases...
