National Capital Authority (NCA) is a government body that is responsible for authorising event held at the national land. It is a functional body of Australian government that was planned and formed, keeping in interest, the planning and development of the ‘Canberra’ as the capital of Australia. NCA legally authorises the events to be held at the national spaces, which includes a range of extraordinary venues such as the Commonwealth Park, Aspen Island, Anzac parade and Lake Burley Griffin for the cultural, community and ceremonial display of events (NCA, 2017). 
Events that are authorised by NCA include private gatherings, sports meet, birthday parties, farewell, marriage ceremonies, car shows, display events for artwork, community events that are non-profit and some commercial events also.
