Introduction 
The paper analyzes various situations faced by the corporations and underlines the view 
in which these allegations could be held by the firms in light of various accounting concepts.

 The situation describes how Maxwell House had been charged for not disclosing the 
amount that it spent on George Bush’s Corporate Campaigns. The company must have been 
concerned about its stakeholders as the amount if disclosed needs to be shown in the income 
statement of the company. This must have raised questions from the shareholders and other 
stakeholders of the company (Myers, 1984). The company primarily wanted to window dress on 
the amount it was spending to support the corporate campaigns of George Bush.
