also. On the other hand, it is a process of the investigation of a criminal’s object, behavior and 
background in an effort to guide an investigation. It also offers a perfect way of guiding the 
direction (Bloom, 2013). Along with this, it is helpful to provide information about a person to 
help in an investigation. It also plays a vital role to sketch an audience, group or individual 
person by their unethical setting such as: their beliefs, attitudes and values on a particular 
subject. 
On the other hand, there are several criticisms of criminal profiling. One of the most 
criticisms of criminal profiling is that there is tiny practical evidence that suggests criminal 
profiles are actually relevant to reality. In the same manner, most of criminal profiles are based 
on one or two crimes that are not enough to provide any scientific conclusions (Bevers, 2008).
