Life for the minorities is not very smooth in the realm of the American society. It 
is never an easy job for the individuals belonging to the minority groups in the U.S. to 
attain a substantial economic and social status. But it will be a folly on our end to 
overlook the fact that America to some extent is a land of opportunities, liberty, and 
scopes and it is this nature of the land that has provided the minorities with myriads of 
opportunities to better the condition of their lives. So, precisely the life in the U.S. for 
the minorities is a life full of different and contradictory experiences.  
What I did learn from the assigned writings that the agonizing conditions of the 
minorities in the U.S. has always remained a truth. For an example the Native 
Americans who have gradually transformed into minorities in the U.S. actually helped 
the Puritan white settlers of the U.S. to learn the mode of life amidst of the new 
geographical conditions of the U.S. and moreover, it was these Native Americans who 
taught the Puritans a new way of life. But in lieu the Puritans in a bizarre manner 
exterminated the Indians in order to claim their supremacy over the minor number of
