In module 7, the research elaborates the likely helping forces for change and likely hindering forces against the change, on the basis of Force Field Analysis and 7S Analysis. The research analyzes the role of small internal entities and that of the stakeholders (such as regulatory bodies, disaffected employees or other organizational divisions, supply chains partners, competitors, and other interest groups) to implement the recommendations for new change. Relating the analysis to the cu
ent scenario of Manulife Insurance Company, the report evaluates all the positive and negative forces which drive the need for a change in the company. The need for change in policies and implementation of new strategy is driven by the problem of dissatisfaction and unhappiness in the employees due to decision of Manulife to dismiss 500 employees to cut down the costs within the next 18 months. The recommendations for change are expected to
ing stability in the employees and to help the company utilize the skills of existing employees in best possible manner.
The project also gives me an opportunity to express my plan to leverage the helping forces and mitigate the negative influence while proceeding with the implementation of change. Finally the project discusses the ethical issues pertinent to project analysis.
