Alkenes – Synthesis of Cyclohexenes
Objective:
The synthesis of alkenes is performed by dehydrating subsequent alcohol group using strong acid followed by strong neutralising step, in common concentrated phosphoric acid or sulphuric acid is used for dehydration step.
