BIO-SOLAR ATM
“A SOLAR POWERED BIOMETRIC BASED AUTOMATED TELLER MACHINE”
In this present world of technology where time is equated to money and the use of latest technical gadgets is considered as a cakewalk, there are countries around the world where they are still suffering from low literacy rate. Elderly and Illiterate people in those countries do face difficulties in day-to-day life after technical gadgets have come into handy in almost all walks of life. Majority of the population hold a bank account to avail the benefits from the schemes and programs being introduced by the government for the development of their respective country. Due to their illiteracy and poor understanding of how to operate certain technical functions, they are unable to make proper use of conventional ATMs. On the other hand, walking into a bank for a small transaction is cumbersome for them because of huge attendance in banks nowadays. To tackle such situations, ‘BIO-SOLAR ATM’ is presented which will help people to solve the problem at hand.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PRODUCT
‘BIO-SOLAR ATM’ partially resembling a conventional ATM, additionally has few other components attached to it which include solar panels, headset/speaker, microphone and a biometric scanne
touchpad. Keeping in mind the difficulty of remembering the PIN, this ‘BIO-SOLAR ATM’ incorporates the use of biometrics with the help of a biometric scanner or the touchpad installed on the device. To minimise the difficulties faced by illiterates and elderly people in reading and understanding the text displayed on the screen, the text is replaced with photographs of different denominations to select from and the ATM will dispense the selected amount. The headset/speaker attached will read out the details like cu
ent balance, updated account statement, etc. A Microphone can also be used to input commands into the ATM. This is a Green device since solar panels are used to power the machine and touchpad and speakers provide a card-less (reduces the use of plastic cards) and paperless operations as the user is his/her own ATM card.

Executive summary:
This report presents a
ief understanding of “BIO SOLAR ATM” and its globalization by Bhutan. The report explains the use of the Bio solar ATM in today’s world such as Friendliness Conditions, Quick and Secure and unlike regular ATM machines the cost of running the bio solar ATM is low. It also tells about bio diversity conditions in Bhutan. It gives a detailed description about the potential of solar energy in the country. Bhutan is troublesome because of subjective guidelines just as an inadequately directed economic factor. MNCs have defeated this by joining forces with Bhutanese enterprises or by diversifying. when considering the use of solar power for energy and heating, there are countless problems to be faced. Report helps to find the challenges to develop the item such as economical factors, land necessities, network availabilities and technology awareness in the country. The lack of technology awareness in the dominant part of the populace and poor comprehension of how to work certain specialized capacities, they can't utilize ordinary ATMs. To handle such circumstances, 'BIO-SOLAR ATM' is exhibited which will help individuals to take care of the cu
ent issue. The findings gives a wide knowledge about the problems and recommendations for the globalization of the bio solar ATM in Bhutan such as technical availability, the solution to Environmental issues and financial policy.
'BIO-SOLAR ATM':
Description of the item:
'BIO-SOLAR ATM' halfway looking like an ordinary ATM, also has a couple of different segments connected to it which incorporate solar boards, headset/speaker, amplifier and a biometric scanne
touchpad. Remembering the trouble of recalling the PIN, this 'BIO-SOLAR ATM' consolidates the utilization of biometrics with the assistance of a biometric scanner or the touchpad introduced on the gadget. To limit the troubles looked by ignorant people and old individuals in perusing and understanding the content shown on the screen, the content is supplanted with photos of various sections to choose from and the ATM will administer the chose sum. The headset/speaker joined will peruse out the subtleties like cu
ent equalization, refreshed record proclamation, and so on. A Microphone can likewise be utilized to info directions into the ATM. This is a Green gadget since solar boards are utilized to control the machine and touchpad and speakers give a card-less (lessens the utilization of plastic cards) and paperless activities as the client is his/her very own ATM card.
Aim and Objectives:
Ease of use: anyone can utilize the 'BS-ATM' as it is worked uniquely on biometrics and contact-based intelligent
oad media interfacing which uses the biometric ID to recognize people and Audio-Visual interface to direct and finish the exchange. It is intended to be worked by both the unlettered masses and the individuals who neglect to utilize ordinary ATMs.
Condition Friendliness: This ATM is a Green gadget which will be worked on solar PV control and have card-less (plastic less) and paperless activity as the client is his/her own ATM card. Utilization of biometrics rests the utilization of ATM cards. Toward the part of the bargain, the clients will be advised about their residual equalization through sound along these lines maintaining a strategic distance from the utilization of paper receipts.
Low Running Cost: Unlike regular ATM machines, this machine will keep running in DC on Solar PV supply in both independent and Grid associated mode, accordingly diminishing the working expense extraordinarily. It utilizes vitality productive structure and parts which diminishes the power utilization of the machine at 300W pinnacle utilization and 50W reserve mode utilization.
Quick and Secure: The principle issues with regular ATM are loss of ATM cards and need retaining the PIN number, added to that both the card and the PIN can be abused by anybody and is frequently stolen. This conduct verification methodology is supplanted by 2 a
ange biometric unique mark-sweep and validation techniques which are both physiological and increasingly secure in nature, prompting quicker exchanges.
