In chapter 12 of Terry Cooke-Davies book, Terry Williams identified a series of future research agenda items that needed to be explored in order that a better definition, understanding, capability, and training around complex projects could be developed (pp XXXXXXXXXXThen, in the conclusion to the book, the editor and second Terry states, "Today's complexity is only expected to rise and more than half of CEOs doubt their ability to manage it." What the two Terry's suggest could mean that there are substantial career opportunities ahead for a bright young person who is seeking a career in the world of project management. The first may be to pursue an academic career and become a researcher into the unknowns of complex project management. For surely there is fame and glory for those researchers that throw light on those unknowns? The second may be to follow the advice of the second Terry and pursue a career that helps CEOs manage and master the complex project that they are reported to fear. And as a consequence to become rich and powerful as a practitioner?

“Reflection on being a complex project practitioner”
Complexity within the project management is a critical component that require extensive care and unique skills to manage. After learning through the course and from various study resources I gained substantial amount of knowledge about complex project components and its most common faced issues. Throughout the learning period I was exposed to two main section of complex project management- managing project being practitioner and other being with researchers to produce more skilled student from the study course. In the later form researchers and students works collaborate for developing the most appropriate tools and technique for managing a complex project. According to Svejvig & Andersen (2015) they are responsible for developing the efficient skills and technique required to be a successful complex project practitioner. The theoretical guide along with basic knowledge towards the technicality of complex project is the purpose of the researcher. On the other hand, practitioners are known for applying the skills and technique in the project field to get out the most efficient results. Successful practitioner are many times a manager of complex project management and have unique ability to solve toughest and critical and complex situation (Ramazani & Jergeas, 2015). The complexity consists of many key components that produce an impact over the success and failure of the project. A practitioner needs to deal with misaligned stakeholder, lack of understanding of non-technical situation and involves numerous factors in its dynamic nature.
