IMPROVEMENT GOALS
This section sets forth an action plan for my personal development and itemizes steps I will take to address no more than four Areas for Improvement from my Catalytic Coaching Worksheet or from growth needs highlighted by the other developmental processes.
Area for Improvement 1: Further my Emotional Intelligence
In order to grow professionally and personally I need to further my Emotional Intelligence Training. I can accomplish this by setting aside a couple hours each week to go online to the Emotional Intelligence website. I have already used the tools on the website to improve my personal competence in self-awareness and self-management. I’ve discussed the results with my supervisor and completed the tasks on March 15, XXXXXXXXXXNext I’m working on my social competence in social awareness and relationship management that I plan to have complete by April 30, 2019. I feel that using this program will help me become a stronger asset to Chimp Haven’s mission.
Area for Improvement 2: Improve accuracy with my internal and external written communication.
Area for Improvement 3: Organize APS Training Program to managers & employees
I’m currently working on APS Training with APS staff to train the management staff by the end of April XXXXXXXXXXThe training will consist of showing management how to use the APS tools for the New Hire Process. Managers will learn how to review resumes, schedule interviews, and complete new hire process online. Once a candidate is selected then managers will be able to move their information from APS Hire to APS. Managers will also go through training for current employees on how to schedule training and Cat Coaching online. This training is beneficial to Chimp Haven and management since it has us become less dependent on paper documentation. Once management is trained then we will schedule training to be completed by June 1st for all employees to become accustomed to using APS on a daily basis.
Area for Improvement 4: Improve my verbal communication and listening skills
STRENGTHS
This section encourages me to give back to the organization by capitalizing on one of my highlighted Strengths as listed in my Catalytic Coaching Worksheet and/or other developmental feedback.
Strength 5: Find ways to make my outspoken personality become an asset in the work environment.
