a) To balance the equation we must have equal atoms for each radical on both the sides. We have Al 1 on left side and also on right side. Cu also is one on both sides. Problem is with Cl.
To balance this we must take LCD of 2 and 3 and we get 6.
So multiply by 3 the compound with Cl, and on right side by 2.
This affects Cu and Al. So to balance them we adjust.
