Background of the Woolworths
    Woolworths has been recognised as the reputed retail-based organisation in Australia. However, it is regarded as the grocery and supermarket chain in Australia. Woolworth’s group found it in 1924. In the present context, the organisation has occupied nearly 80% of the market share in the Australian market (Parkinson, 2018). However, the organisation has dealt its business with fresh vegetables, milk, fruits and milk-oriented products and packaged food. On the other hand, it has also expanded its business with health products, beauty products, baby and pet suppliers, magazines and household goods.

The CEO of the Woolworths group is Brad Banducci and the managing director of the organisation is Claire Peters, who leads the organisation.

    The success of the Woolworths group has based on the leadership practices they address in their organisation. Leaders of the organisation have focused on the implication of several practices that they can easily access the operational activities of the organisation.
