Does the end justify the means? Assuming the responsibility of leadership, a leader also assumes the ethical boundaries that accompany it. Many leaders have relied on illegal or unethical tactics to achieve their goals. For this assignment, use the Internet to find 2 articles that discuss the decision of the same leader of an organization that was considered illegal or unethical by the authors. Your articles should be found online in the popular press or a professional journal. Be sure to apply the material from your text to your discussion.

Directions:

For your first post, describe the key points of each article and detail why the author of the article found it illegal or unethical. Evaluate the leader's ethical awareness or standards, (apply the course material). This discussion will be at least 300 words. (Be sure to reference your articles in APA format).

For your second post, review another student's post and comment on why you think the leader, discussed in that post, thought they could 'get away with', or not be punished for, what they did.

Original Post: Write an essay illustrating the lesson concepts and explaining your answers. This original post must contain a minimum of 300 words. Students must demonstrate critical thinking by paraphrasing the material into their own words (direct quotes should be used in a limited manner as this does not display critical thinking). All statements in the post that are not general knowledge should be cited to their source. Be sure to clearly relate the readings to the lesson concepts. Students may further synthesize this research relating to personal experiences. All citations should be in APA format with a reference listing at the bottom of the post in APA format.

This article attacks Elon Musk as his act of overpromising as an almost unethical aspect of the company (CNBC, 2019). This remark has been triggered by Kox automotive executive Karl Brauer who criticized Tesla for its self-driving aspect. Even though the CEO had promised that the autonomous driving technology is an effective one yet there where accidents that signify that the technology is not efficient and sustainable over the long term.
