1. In two well-written and fully-developed paragraphs, write about the film you chose to watch in Week 7. Give a one paragraph synopsis of the film, including a powerful thesis statement that identifies the film's theme and its impact on you as a viewer. The second paragraph should examine and answer the following questions:

  • What elements of film (acting, characterization narrative, sound, music, cinematography, editing) contributed the cinematic power of this movie? Give examples. If the film was a failure, point to how some of these elements fell flat.
