After doing all of the essential activities for Week 3 (see below), answer the following questions:1. Think back to one of your favorite childhood films and choose a favorite character. In a single paragraph, describe the character using the character types presented in this week's reading. What techniques did the screenwriter, director, production designer, and/or actor use to create this character? Why do you think that, as a child, you connected with this particular character?
2. In two to three paragraphs, write a succinct yet thorough plot description of one of your favorite films (or one of the films you've been assigned to watch in this class). Begin your opening paragraph with a single sentence that describes the film's theme and what the director was attempting to accomplish with the film. Note how the film follows or strays from the traditional three-act structure. Use terminology from Chapter 4 to describe the characters and the narrative arc of the film.
