Introduction
The report aims to illustrate the Google organizational culture with respect to Hofstede dimensions. Hofstede dimensions are individualism-collectivism, uncertainty avoidance, power distance, masculinity-femininity, long-term orientation (Soares, Farhangmehr, & Shoham, 2007). Power distance refers to the distance between members of an organization and acceptance of unequal distributed power. The more power distance, refers more inequality. Uncertainty avoidance refers society tolerance towards ambiguity. Individualism versus collectivism refers the degree to which the individuals are integrated or disintegrated into a group. Therefore in the individualist’s societies and work culture, the relationship between people is loose but in collectivist society, the relationship between people is strong. Masculinity versus femininity factor refers to the emotional roles’ distribution between the sexes. Therefore those societies or workplace having masculine values prefer challenging assignments and achievement but in feminine work-culture, people prefer to assimilate kindness and cooperation values. All these factors are considered for analysis of Google work-culture. The report winds up with conclusion.
