1. Introduction
Project related to construction of transportation medium often takes place in several locations in Australia. A project that has been taken place in several locations of Sydney has been presented in this study. The project that has been taken under consideration for this study is named as ‘Sydney CBD Freight’. More details about this project are presented in the following section.
1.1 Background to the project
In terms of economy, Australia is maintaining a good position to perform any sort of business. However, due to congestion in traffic and transportation, business activities often hampered. In order to maintain business flow in the country, the government of NSW has taken an initiative called as ‘Sydney CBD Freight' project.
Primary objectives or deliverables of this project is nothing but increasing flexibility in the city for conducting business-related activities. Along with that, increasing efficiency in businesses for their future is another motto behind the project (Transport.nsw.gov.au, 2019).
1.2 Requirements elicitation and acceptance
Through the project description, it has been observed that the government of NSW has aimed to deliver more efficient goods and services to the citizen. Moreover, they have also aimed to provide an opportunity to utilize the unused space present in the city. In order to fulfil all the objectives, a proper collaboration between government and project management is a mandatory requirement. If the final project is delivered as per the expectation level from representatives of NSW then only this project will be considered as successful.

The economy here refers to amount of GDP in a particular financial year. Along with that, per capita income among citizen is also a part of country’s economy. According to Rees et al.
