Use the Internet to research one (1) developing nation of your choice. Your research should include an examination of the effects that war and peace have on the distribution of foreign aid, as well as the material covered by the Webtext and lectures in Weeks 1 through 3.

Write a three to four (3-4) page research paper in which you:

  1. Assess the positive and negative effects that peace and war, respectively, have on the distribution of foreign aid in the developing country that you have selected. Support your response with concrete examples of each of the results that you have cited.
  2. Analyze the specific actions that the leadership of the selected country has taken, through the use of its foreign aid from donor nations and international lending institutions, to relieve the severe problems caused by warfare.
  3. Discuss whether or not the extension of foreign aid has successfully reduced poverty and the incidence of warfare in the selected country. Support your response with examples.

Foreign aid has always been a hot bedded area of contention in alliances between countries.
Though imperialism has left its mark on global international alliances, the growth of nation
states especially the progressive countries .A few countries donned the mantle of helping
countries with conditions that looked simple but had very strict undertones. Pakistan was one
such country which has been at the receiving end of all kinds of aid from the USA .
War and peace:
Pakistan has had a very tu
ulent interior locale. The continued support of Pakistan to insurgent
militant groups and the so called Jihadis who were hostile to The USA was one of the chief
easons why despite having heavy aids , there was very little which was released . Foreign aid
to Pakistan was based on many issues, chief of them being the state of tu
ulence and volatility
in the home front and the kind of unpeaceful environment that was present in Pakistan .Knowing
that these sanctions were very important for the development of Pakistan’s interior which was
war torn and filled with racial strife’s and te
or hideouts, Pakistan in no way tried to hide its
avages if internal fighting and support of te
or groups inside the country. This led to foreign
aid to Pakistan being cut down drastically .The strategic importance of Islamabad being a good
partner was slowly diminishing as many account of violation were observed by global peace
keeping bodies.
