Task 2 focuses on preparing and planning tasks to promote and implement emotional intelligence in the workplace.

This task will assist you in self-assess your emotional intelligence, helping you to determine areas for improvement.

Keep a diary for three days. For each day:

    Self-Awareness- Self-awareness makes on individual more aware about oneself and they are able to understand their emotions which is an effective to denote the strength and the weakness of an individual emotion (Kotsou et al., 2018). They are confident enough because for they trust they are intuition and it makes them understand their emotional strengths. It is able to ensure emotional impulses and help the individual to perform better.

    Self-Regulation- This ensures the ability of the individual to control the emotion and the impulses. This also ensure the people who self-regulate typically and don't allow themselves to become too angry or jealous and they don't make impulsive work careless decisions (Kanesan et al., 2019). This is an effective criterion that influences the strength and weakness of the emotions of an individual.

    Motivation- People with high degree of emotional intelligence are usually motivated and this ensures the strength and weaknesses of an individual emotion. They are willing to defer immediate results for the long-term successes they are highly productive and love a challenge under very effective in whatever they do.

    Empathy- People with the high degree of emotional intelligence are usually motivated and this is the effective criteria for ensuring the strength and weakness of an individual’s emotion. Empathy is also the ability to identify what an individual once or needs on the basis of the viewpoints of those around us. People with empathy also ensure for a good at recognising the feelings of others and it also ensure that they are empathetic towards managing relationships and listening to others (McCan, 2018).

    I engage with an argument regarding particular aspect with one of my colleagues in the workplace. I try to force my understanding regarding a particular aspect to others in the workplace and focus on the things that I felt good for the situation that came up.
    I was very dominated at that point and never try to understand what the others was trying to contemplate about the particular situation.
