In this assessment task, you will be required to prepare a proposal for a simple project using the guidelines provided below. Some of the examples of projects could be; · Developing a website for your organisation · Introducing a new product in the market · Implementing a new IT system in your organisation · Setting up a children’s playground in your locality acting as a community organisation · Landscaping your garden · Building a pergola in your new house Note: For learners currently working, it is strongly advised that they choose a workplace‐based project with due management permission and work supervision arrangements. You will be required to provide a Third‐ Party Verification Report (template will be provided by your trainer/assessor) for all the works completed in the workplace. Alternatively, you may conceive other project ideas based on your interest. Discuss your project idea/concept with your trainer/assessor if you are unsure. Once you have finalised your project, prepare a project proposal covering the following points; · Background (Problem‐ why the project is needed) · Purpose/Objectives of the project · Project Scope (what will the project accomplish – the solution) · Project duration (Expected start and end dates) · Perceived obstacles and risks including OHS requirements · Perceived costs and benefits · Required resources and record keeping systems For the purpose of task, trainer/assessor will play the role of your supervisor and provide appropriate context and workplace conditions through simulated classroom‐based activities/arrangements. The proposal must be word processed and structured with appropriate headings and sub‐headings as needed. In an organisational context, once a project proposal is approved, it is followed by a project plan that outlines project stakeholders, deliverables, key tasks, budgets, constraints, required resources and most importantly the project time line. According to the Project Management Body of Knowledge, is a formal, approved document used to guide both project execution and project control. A bed café is the one serving coffee and snacks in bed providing a homely ambience. Moon café will be first of its kind café in the city Melbourne that will give people a space to bunk their busy day by availing a power nap and some rest. Melbourne CBD is decided as location for this café being in heart of city making it easily approachable and accessible by more and more customer who requires some own privacy relaxing space in the crowded city. (Sher & Austin, 2010).
Accommodating 20 small rooms equipped with all facilities along with king size bed; moon café will have bunk beds as in short term hostel and these rooms/a
angements will be termed as Moon Box. Cakes as well as snacks will also be served with beverages to the customers so as they can enjoy a quick meal in comfort zone. Up gradation to moon box will be for 2 hours where they can enjoy their drink and snacks in bed.
