Introduction
The article identified for the discussion is by Smith and Oczkowski (2015) and revolves around the reasons why vocational training is used in the Australian enterprises. A skilled workforce is always beneficial for any organisation as it will be able to help the company sail through any crisis. Nothing is same or in other words, change is inevitable, and this change needs the people to adjust with it. A skilled workforce would be able to adjust better than a non-skilled one. To sharpen their skills, employees need training and thus these articles discuss about the reasons why vocational training should be used for employees in Australian Enterprise. But there are certain points that influences the employers with the decision of training their employers. Cully (2006) published an article that stated his research on the training supported in Australia and overseas. A lot of studies have been done about what kind of training should an employer provide to its employees. But it is still not clear whether these data influence the decision about training the employees or not. Certain models have been created that infer the determinants of organisational training. These models are based on the data collected from the measures of training activity and the possible outcomes of these activities.
