You are asked to develop a short report and videopresentation of no more than 5 minutesto the Board of your company to examine the current state of play on the issues raised in the following case. The case was published in 1993.

Imagine that you are a senior operations manager in a clothing manufacturing and retail company based in a developed country, such as the United States. Your role includes responsibility for international contracts for the manufacturer of the clothing that your company sells into the USA and other developed countries. The Board is well aware of the sensitivity of social sustainability in developing countries and the contribution that big companies from developed countries make. Introduction
In this report, we would be discussing the social sustainability of the regulation & practice which are defined in the developing countries in comparison to the developed countries ethics. We can see there is often a seres of violation, such as child labor exploitation or the equal opportunity clause or the Fair Work practices, in order to meet end needs. In such a scenario, the It is important for the developed countries to access the situation while dealing with the ethical conflicting situation. It is important to note, how the developed countries are able to maintain a healthy sustainable policies & are able to regulate the ethical work practices. Such ethical practices are required to impose within the framework of the legal & environment framework. As a senior manager of the clothing manufacturing, I can see there many challenges & obstacles to be faced while dealing with the people from the developing countries, as they had a different mind zones.
Discussion
As a senior operations manager in a clothing manufacturing and retail company within the developed country such as United States, it was cultural & ethical shock to see the violation of the fair practices & the dealing of the cultural values. One can see a balance to be maintained with respect to the international contracts for the manufacturer of the clothing which has procured to sell goods in the USA and selling globally developed countries. To my assessment, I have seen that the Board is well aware towards the sensitivity of social sustainability which exists in the developing countries such as the child labour & exploitation, which can have retarding effect on the competitive pricing along with the accessment of the contribution which a big companies from developed countries make. Evaluation of resources (CRAP test)
We have included the child labor references and the CRAP test gives an assessment of the 45 which is reasonably good to be used. The references have been well researched over the topic of child labour which have been exploited within the developing countries.
Problem Analysis
The case highlights the cultural relativism (Madsen, 2015). The Cultural relativism is by definition an observation related to the...
