The article must be sufficient in length and scope to allow a detailed analysis, and examples.
Your choice of article and the topics to be covered MUST be approved by your lecturer to ensure that the
article/topics are relevant. Sample articles will be provided as a guideline, to assist you in your own choice
of article.

Assessment Instructions
You are to write a detailed “article analysis” that seeks to analyse, comment on and critique your selected
article and the author’s point of view.
The purpose of writing an article analysis is to demonstrate that you have read, understood, and can apply
the ideas in the international business field, and to demonstrate your critical thinking abilities.
Your analysis will include three key components: a summary of the article’s main points, the evidence that
the article puts forward and the relationship to cu
ent issues in the International Business field.

Your choice of article and the topics to be covered MUST be approved by your lecturer to ensure that the
article/topics are cu
ent
elevant. You are required to submit a copy of your article with appropriate
eferences with your individual analysis.
You will be required to apply two (2) key theories/models in your analysis of the article from the core themes
(International Business/Globalisation, Strategic Directions, Global Monetary Environment, Trade,
Investment, and Foreign Ownership) covered in the subject so far and the contents of the article
Sample articles will be provided as a guideline, to assist you in your own choice of article.
