The programs that are created to meet the legislated obligation prime purpose are to comply with the work health and safety act 2011 or the WHS act. It understands the legislation requirements, and considers the duty of care scope and requirements to take suggestions from workers. It also is focused towards risk management approach. The organizations take into account various acts to comply such as workplace and safety act 2011, safety, rehabilitation and compensation act, 1988 and disability discrimination act, 1992. These acts are proposed to safeguard the interests of workers and therefore, programs created to meet the legislated obligations consider these acts. But an voluntary program that is promoted for wellbeing does not need to consider these acts and to comply with them it is merely to assist workers and improving the workplace safety measures by employing certain strategies and by voluntary participation. There is no legal or external pressure to join such programs.
