They have duty of care to take care of themselves as well to bother for the health and safety of others at work. They never should deal recklessly with the safety equipment and other sensitive equipment at the work locations. They have duty to report an accident immediately after its occu
ence. Further they should not take the risk of health and safety of others at the workplace.
2. What are the three main principles that underlie H&S legislation?

Every person should be given highest level of safety protection that is reasonably practicable.
Those who works on to manage or control activities should also give rise to risks to health or safety are also responsible for the eliminating the same risks.
Employers and self employed people should remain proactive and should take reasonable measures and actions to ensure health and safety in their business activities.
