Background
It has been noticed that the healthcare industry predominantly lacks a unified healthcare system for providing holistic patient care. Owing to the fragmented patient data systems, several challenges and issues are being faced by the healthcare industry. Within a hospital or a healthcare setting, it has often been noticed that various departments work independently and do not coordinate much with each other particularly when it comes to maintaining the records and storing the data (Ismail et al., 2020). This often leads to data redundancy, and compromises with the accuracy of data as well. Owing to this, delays in patient care and treatment are often significant. As a strategy to overcome the identified challenge of fragmented patient data systems, Integrated Patient Management System has been proposed as a solution. It has been proposed with an intention to consolidate the data of patients from various departments into a single platform (Spicer et al., 2020). This platform will allow to access the patient data from a unified platform making its faster to provide the necessary care and treatment to the patient. This will also help to eliminate redundant tests, which will not only help to save time but will also assist to reduce the cost of the treatment being provided. Medical e
ors will also be reduced significantly with this thus, improving the overall patient outcomes. Operational efficiency of the hospitals, and other healthcare facilities will also be improved with the implementation of this approach.
Purpose
IPMS is being developed and implemented with the purpose to come up with a centralized platform so as to effectively manage the data of the patients across different departments within the healthcare setting (Awad et al., 2021). With IMPS the decision-making abilities of the staff can also be improved owing to the fact that medical records, diagnostic data, and treatment plans are all available on a single comprehensive platform (Hermes aet al., 2020). This will also help to improve the patient outcomes and will also help to improve the operational efficiency of the healthcare organization (Wager, Lee & Glaser, 2021). Also, regulatory compliances of the organization can easily be met as the hospital can also maintain records with greater efficiency. Also, this project is capable of automating most of the routine tasks including record-keeping, billing, and scheduling. This will also help to improve patient care and therefore leading to better patient outcomes and therefore enhanced patient satisfaction. The project is also aimed at ensuring the safety of patient data by following encryption protocols. This will help to safeguard the crucial and important data of the patients against security attacks.

Design, development, and implementation of centralized IPMS, while including the already stored data from multiple individual systems

This involves design and development of the system. Assessment of risks in completing this project must also be accessed in this stage. Compatibility of the new system must also be tested with existing system.
Data migration from the existing system to the new system and platform ensuring that the data is not being lost
IT professionals from MediaShark and IT professionals from the healthcare organization with proficiency in system integration.
Seamless migration of data from one platform to the other ensuring that there is no loss of data and delicacy of data.

System integration must be ensuring in all the departments. All the departments must be able to use the available system.
