You should spend at least 30-45 minutes outside in sustained observation and reflection. Try and select a spot to sit/stand in place to observe the environment around you. While observing, you should take notes (pen and paper or on an electronic device). Then, when you are done making your observation, you should write up your thoughts and reflections, addressing the following points: In “Former Inhabitants,” Thoreau focuses his attention not on the pond, animals, or surrounding landscape, but on the traces of human presence around Walden. He considers those Concord residents who had lived there before him as well as the former Native American inhabitants. Why does he focus on this? What does his learn? For your observation this week, you will consider some of the former inhabitants of the place where you are currently living. Go for a walk in the neighborhood and/or land surrounding your current residence. As you take time to walk around, try to imagine who lived here before you and what their lives were like, what thoughts they may have had, etc. What traces of human occupation to you see? What can you learn from considering these former inhabitants? Guidelines: Length: a minimum of 2 full pages, typed & double-spaced

Use the book "walden" by Henry David Thoreau, there shouldn't be no reference , it shouldn't be someones work please .. it should be your own observation and all that

Thoreau's attention to the Native Americans and prior Walden residents serves as a reminder that the place we call home has a rich history and a compelling na

Observation
I made the decision to go for a stroll about my neighborhood and the su
