I was approached by many companies with their social media marketing campaigns. This wasn’t strange to me as I had already heard about companies approaching clients with social media campaigns with their products and services. The trackers track the movements of people on their website and also on Google and try to poach the client before the person approaches the competitors. There are multiple e-commerce websites which use this technique to get to the customer before the competitor so that they have a higher customer base. As I have been studying this social media campaigns and social media marketing, thgis concepts wasn’t new but the techniques in which the companies try to pursue us to buy their products is very unique and nice. They try to get to the mind of the customer by the algorithms that are deployed to categorize the person on the basis of product choice or the product value. If the customer wants product choice, multiple product variety are shown to he
him and if the person is price conscious then a cut in price is what would attract the customer towards buying the product from that website. This is an interesting thing as we learn lot about human psychology.
