Sociology is the stream in which, various dimensions of the social issues are brought to light. There is always the root cause and recommendations, which have been implemented, in the broad social context through social researches (Babbie). When it comes to funding of the research, which is directed to analyze a particular social issue, this should have two folded aspects. The issue can be related to the community problems or some universal issue, which conventionally exists in a particular social context.
For example, examining the gender bias in Hispanic communities living in a particular region of United States is a specific topic to explore. Thus, the funding of this project will be under state of central government department of social studies. In other words, there will be two modes or ways of having this funding and the first, and the most obvious one as well, will stem from the approval of the governments (Kuhn). 	
Secondly, if the research topic is approved by individual approach that is the topic is selected and processed through individual interest in the subject may lead to individual expanses. They will be on the researcher only who has taken up the research. The approval of the topic will be on behalf of some authoritative agency only (Fernandes et al.). For example, if the topic mentioned above, the gender bias in Hispanic community, is taken up precisely for the sake of observing a family or a particular social group, then the funding of this will be depending over the person who has shown interest in the research.
