Tania Douglas, a biomedical engineer who completed her degrees from University of Cape Town, addresses the need of in-depth knowledge of a problem to find an apt solution at TED Global, 2017. The topic of her talk was “To design better tech, understand context”. She believes the pursuit of technology is blinding us and making us drift from the real needs.
