In this paper, the article, A Field Experiment Examining the Effects of Accounting Equation Emphasis and Transaction Scope on Students Learning to Journalize, will be assessed. The author of the reviewed article is Fred Phillips and Lindsay Heiser. In this article, I will assess the article based on how and what was done while conducting the methods that were implemented throughout the article's process. We can see that, In the research, scholars encouraged this intentional move by encouraging students to record the accounting results of each purchase. However, other methods mentioned in the Role Review portion of this paper may be used to facilitate this intermediate stage of the journaling process.
