    Humanism and behaviorism are two of the major schools of thoughts that constitute significant portion to understand human mind. It is, therefore, necessary to know the difference between humanism and behaviorism. There are a variety of approaches to psychology, the empirical study of human mental processes and behavior that are often known as schools of psychology. Humanism and Behaviorism are two such schools that define the human behavior and thinking to a large extent (Bland & Deobertis, 2018). A new way of understanding the human mind and actions is provided by each approach. Behaviorism, clearly defined, pays attention to humans' outward behavior and ignores the mental mechanisms that are not measurable. On the other side, humanism looks at the individual as a whole. Therefore, the key distinction between the two schools of thought, humanism and behaviorism, is the shift of course from external behavior to the whole being (Comer et al, 2013).
