1. What are some of the techniques you can use that are outlined in the text that can help you with lowering your stress? Do you see a mind, body, soul connection? Explain. 
Stress has become an integral part of human life.  Throughout life, every human being encounters various kinds of stress; from a child to an old person. Sometimes stress can take different faces such as depression, sorrow or even disaster.  This is because stress refers to a position where demand is placed on an individual.  It has been found that human beings life is covered in a variety of stress.  To cope with stress, every individual has different methods. 
However, some of the techniques that I can adapt to lower my stress in different conditions with the very first one is not making a comparison of me with anyone. The second technique that I would adopt is by appraising stressors, where I would perceive every threat as an opportunity. A third method would set a deadline for myself it's before I am asked to perform under pressure (Kaplowitz, 2011).
 Yes! I do see a connection of a mind, body and soul as when an individual is stressed it has a direct impact on his/her daily life events; primarily it creates frustration as well as irritation. This is because each of the organs is inter-related, i.e. when the mind is stressed; the body reacts accordingly and also during stress the soul never relax or remains in peace.
