Lecture Synopsis Guidelines:

  1. Your synopsis must include the following:
  2. On page 1 (1 point possible) you will identify a) the title of the online talk or video, b) the source of the talk or video, including the internet link, c) the name of the main speaker or narrator [if there is a main speaker or narrator], and d) the date that you viewed the talk or video.
  3. On page 2 (2 points possible) you will summarize the main points of the talk or video. This summary must be at least one full page.
  4. On page 3 (2 points possible) you will discuss what new anthropological insights you learned. Make special mention of anything unexpected or counterintuitive. This discussion must be at least one full page.
  5. Your synopsis should be double-spaced, 11- or 12-point fonts only, please!
