View an online talk or video regarding archaeology and submit a written synopsis following the
guidelines below. Each synopsis is worth up to 5 points. Students may submit as many synopses as they
wish in order to earn up to a maximum total of 20 extra credit points for the semester. Lecture Synopsis
Guidelines: Your synopsis must include the following: On page 1 (1 point possible) you will identify a) the
title of the online talk or video, b) the source of the talk or video, including the internet link, c) the name
of the main speaker or na

ator], and d) the date that you viewed
the talk or video. On page 2 (2 points possible) you will summarize the main points of the talk or video.
This summary must be at least one full page. On page 3 (2 points possible) you will discuss what new
anthropological insights you learned. Make special mention of anything unexpected or counterintuitive.
This discussion must be at least one full page. Your synopsis should be double-spaced, 11- or 12-point
fonts only, please!
