Computer could be defined as an electronic device, which programmable and could perform multiple operations on data and process them in any given time. It is designed to store and fetch the information requested by the user and produce the relevant output. Computer acts as a multitasking device where the processing and executing is done simultaneously (Chen, Wang, Kirschner & Tsai, 2018). We could send emails, browse the files, play games, work on documents and all could be processed at the same time.

In order to make the computer operational, below are the hardware that are required: - 
a. CPU (Processors): Central Processing Unit (CPU) is the central device, which processes the input data and provides the relevant output. The processing is done with the help of the control unit and the logical calculations being done by the Arithmetic Logic Unit (ALU) (Rai & Chaudhuri, 2017).
b. Hard Disk: Hard disk is the storage device. It is used to read and write the data stored in it. Hard disks are comprised of magnetic disks, which rotates between 5400 RPM and 15000 RPM. The faster the disk rotates, the faster the computer could access the stored data (Junot, Briand, Ledesma-Alonso & Dauchot, 2017).
