Developing an emergency response plan
First and foremost step to develop an emergency response plan is to conduct vulnerability assessment that means to identify which emergency may occur in the specific area. The vulnerability of area defines the kind of emergency plan to be developed and adopted by an organization (Susan & Chris, 2014). Brainstorming a list of potential risks, threats as well as hazards scenarios can be done with the help of risk assessment tools so as to proactively develop emergency response plan.
