The Act of Courts Service which was passed in the year 1998 in response to its recommendations, and the "Courts Service" autonomous agency has been created.
Nine attorneys are among the 17 members of the board, which is presided over by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Ireland. The board is in charge of running the Courts Service. The main duties of the Courts Service include running the courts, giving judges support services, informing the public about the court system, outfitting, running, and maintaining court facilities, and providing amenities for users.
