Abstract 
The system of criminal correction is relatively more common and mature in the western region. This has its strong base in western countries including the USA, UK, and many such western countries. Such correctional procedures are part of criminal justice and are usually undertaken by the agencies of government. These are the functions of the government agencies which involve various elements including treatment, punishments, and supervision of the individuals who are being convicted for the commitment of the crime. The common operations of such functions are imprisonment, parole, or probation. The correctional system is also commonly known as the penalty system and one of the typical treatments under such a system is imprisonment. As it is self-explanatory with the word penal system that involves the networks of various agencies that are involved in the administration of the jurisdiction, prison and other common programs like probation and parole. The system of criminal correction forms a part of the larger justice system which also includes police, court, and prosecution into it. 
The system of correction along with prosecution also involves the element of academic study in it. The study relates to the policies and programs to plan and execute the respective correction system. The major objective of the study is to train the personnel and enhance management practices for effective implementation of the processes related to the system of criminal correction. Another aspect of the system is related to the community-based correction system. Such community corrections are implanted or imposed on the adults who are convicted or the adjudicated juvenile that taken place in the community or residential that is set out from the prison or jail.
Introduction 
The term community correction is a very general term used to manage and train the individuals who were convicted or criminals in the environment of the community. This helps the criminals in many ways, as it doesn’t make them feel isolated ad helps them to learn in a friendly environment with making the use of social resources. The same was originated by the government of western countries and then was followed by the rest. It has been noticed in the past several years that criminal correction has become an inevitable trend and has extended itself across the globe. As it is the non-custodial measure, which doesn’t confine the criminal in custody, hence is considered an important method and has a great impact on the transformation and teaching of the criminal. Though, the implementation of any law or system without its theoretical implication is not possible. In the act or effective development and perfect implementation, the system greatly influenced the various theories and provisions related to criminal laws and their criminological theories. The theory stated in the criminology gives great theoretical support to the implementation and development of the criminal correction system. 
Literature review 
As per the point of view of the author in the process of development and implementation of the criminal correction process the authority must place special emphasis on the interested groups and along with the same the author is of the view that the process of decision making is also an extensive matter (Fan, & Liu, 2019). Along with the same, the matter related to the theoretical framework has also been discussed as the same has been used to direct or guide the individuals to make the analysis of the current system and take the appropriate decision.
Theoretical framework
