Task
Marketing is all about being able to communicate your ideas to specific audiences. The purpose of Assessment Three is to help you develop your presentation skills as it is one of the most common ways of communicating in business. There are many technological aids that can help a presenter so it is important to have a good understanding on how technology can help you. This assessment requires you to create a voice recorded power point.
You are the new marketing manager for your chosen organisation (same organisation as assessment 3- Woolworths Temora NSW your order no XXXXXXXXXXBased on the results of the report, you have been tasked with analysing the cu
ent marketing strategy and are required to present your recommendations to the board in Weeks 11 & 12.
The assessment has three steps:

Ensure you reference your presentation using APA referencing (Referencing is worth 4 marks.)
Communication, roll play and presentation is worth 6 marks.
This is what you need to have:
1. Definition – explain with references what is the extended marketing mix.
2. Evaluation of what is happening in terms of marketing for your selected organization and the scenario that you have established. *Remember the activity that we undertook in class the other day. I was giving you a visual of how to proceed with that. You can do something similar. (Use in-text citations too)
3. What marketing strategies are you selecting and why would you want to do that? Select the appropriate strategies for each P and justify why that would be good. For instance, price – state that you wish to use price skimming because….
You must relate that to literature and have in-text citations too. Again, you only need to review 4Ps.
Other points to note:
· 15 slides are the maximum but you don’t have to have 15. You probably will end up with less… Fewer slides are fine too as long as you cover those 3 questions asked.
· You may have a lot to say but time is of the essence, so you can place your speech in Notes section in the PPT. I can refer to it if need be. Be selective of what you present as you need to adopt a strategic tone…
· Look at the marking guide and see how you are evaluated..
· You will need in-text referencing the slides and at the end of the PPT as well.
Here would the slides structure be like:
1. Title page – add your name, id details and company

3. Introduction – tell me the product / location & consume

Rationale
This assessment is designed to provide you with an opportunity to:
· be able to define and describe the complexity and diversity of markets and marketing's response to it
· be able to interpret and apply marketing concepts and models to the market place; and
· be able to have skills in researching and communicating ideas about industries, markets and marketing strategy
Presentation
· Develop a PowerPoint presentation with a voiceover na
ation to answer the question. Your voiceover should reflect that of a role play scenario and deliver the ideas the way a manager would to a board of directors.
· Utilise PowerPoint as an aid for your presentation and ensure you type your na
ation notes in the notes section on the PowerPoint slides. Check your audio and animation is all working before submission.
· Ensure you include an introduction, conclusion and reference list. These are not included in your slide count.
