There is 44 questions on exam and its based from chapter XXXXXXXXXXThe exam takes place this Saturday, May 9th. In general, the more work a question requires the more points are awarded. For example, Chapter 11 only has two questions but 15 points. This is because one of the questions is quite long (hint - look at the long Chapter 11 HW problems). Likewise for Chapter 9 (hint -look at the long WACC HW problems). Chapters 5, 9, 10, and 11 counts for the most points and Chapters 1,2, and 4 the least. A little warning - Chapters 6,7, and 8 don't have many points not because they are not important but because the topics are embedded in subsequent chapters (hint - WACC problems in Chapter 9 require Chapter 6,7, and 8 knowledge). The exam runs 160 minutes and is open source but You WILL run out of time if you have to refer to notes or other sources, so be prepared. An excellent idea is to do timed practice sessions - how fast can you do the long HW problems in Chapters 9 and 11? How fast can you do the DSMs? Repeated speed drills will help you master the subjects - provided you improve your score with each attempt and don't need to refer to notes to solve.
