As a child, Timothy began playing sports at 6 years old and quickly excelled. When he was 9 years old, he
oke his ankle playing baseball and took 6 months to recuperate. Despite his injury as a child, he played on his school’s baseball team throughout middle school and high school. In high school, he struggled to maintain his grades in his classes and focused the majority of his attention on sports and friendships. He was quite popular and made friends easily.
After high school, he earned a scholarship to a local junior college for baseball, and he continued to play while he finished his associate’s degree. After college, he obtained a job with his father’s company to pay the bills, but he did not feel any type of attachment to or satisfaction from it. He ma
ied his wife when he was 26 and has been the main financial provider for his family.

The theories of Alfred Alder’s mainly focused on the individualism in psychology. The theories of Alfred Alder are mainly influenced by the Freuds theories but in addition to Freuds focused areas on internals sexual exploring, he considered and studies other internal factors also. In his theories, Alder never approved of the concept of personality types (Watts et al., 2015). Through his theories, Alfred Alder had always tried to explore several aspects of a personality that may neglect the uniqueness of an individual. He insisted that there are several factors related to childhood experiences of a person that helps in shaping the overall behavioral characteristics. For example, there are some children who fells the inferiority or inadequacy in their lives as soon as they starts to explore the world. These early experiences shape the overall behavioral characteristics of a person. For example in such cases, a child’s attempt to get the undivided attention from their parents can shape their fictive as well as unconscious goals. In order to satisfy these goals, the child starts to work on rectifying that inferiority. They start to build up some other strengths in order to compensate the inferiorities. This is related to the part of the theory which deals with dealing with the inferiority complex (Watts et al., 2015).
