One concept is money is fictional, it is an artificial construct in between what one values and what one does not at the same time. With the increase in inflation, the value of the money also decreases. Moreover, this is a continuous process. As the audio states, Brazil, who faced inflation for 5 decades, had to revise the prices of every object constantly each day. The other concept is money being compared with stone money (This American Life, 2011). The stone money even it is huge and heavy, and no one can move it, one knows it exist and it is there.
