The current and proposed research on recidivism in United States is expected to provide a comprehensive overview of recidivism trends in United States of America.  More significantly the research is expected to provide an overview of statistics and this will emphasize the relative need and necessity to pay attention and focus on recidivism in the country.  Also, the research is expected to provide a comprehensive overview of the factors responsible for causing recidivism in the country. Understanding of the same will provide a means and strategy to counter the recurrence.
Limitation: Research context is only limited to the statistical and root cause analysis, there is no relevance of the same towards the investigation of causes and effectiveness of the solutions proposed.
