Module 4:
1. The decision of Jason accepting $20,000 from Castro Perdido was not the right one since he did not go through the required process and procedures before taking up the cash. He should have gone through the files of the client and check everything before accepting the case.
He just thought superficially that Castro Perdido was a famous insurance
oker and this high-profile case with such good money could be beneficial for him in the future.
2. Gretta Cleaver was the senior partner of the firm. She had a policy of reviewing and approving the new clients and Jason undermined her authority by confirming business with Castro Perdido. He should have told her the whole story just when he realized that he there were issues with the files of the client. This way he just put his job and entire career in danger. He also did not notify Castro Perdido about the money that he took.
3. Jason should totally come clean and report everything to the firm he is working for without being delusional and thinking that the case can make him rich and famous and can secure his future. Instead, this case can totally ruin his career. Violation of code of conduct during his professional tenure can create trouble for him and in future other firms might not provide him job.
