The first articles states about the major reforms that have been enacted since the brutal death of George Floyd that had sparked the Black Lives Matter protests across the nation. New pressures has been put on cities and states after the killing of George Floyd by a white police officer to scale back the force which officers could use on citizens (Axios, 2020).
