Go back to your notes and choose two HR responsibility areas from the book that you find the most interesting ones (for example employee engagement, resourcing, talent management etc). Your task is to make a short Powerpoint-presentation on those two HR responsibility areas to the imaginary audience not familiar with these topics. In your presentation, you are supposed to answer following questions for both areas: • Describe you topic – what does it mean? Why is it important for an organization? • What does it mean to have a strategic approach to the topic? • Explore the scenarios for future worker-employer relationship described in Deloitte’s report ”Global human capital trends 2021” – Which scenario you consider to be most likely and what kind of implications it has to your topic? Name at least 3 things and give concrete examples whenever possible. Reporting: • Report your findings to Powerpoint. Explore one HR area at the time. Use max 3 slides per each HR area to answer the above questions. • The maximum length of your whole presentation is 6 slides (+ cover slide) • Do not copy paste anything directly from the sources, write your own text based on your own thinking. Write in a way that a person not familiar with the content can understand your argumentation. • You don’t need to use refences, just show that you have understood the content. After completing the report: 1. Reflect on your own experiences on interesting/innovative strategic people management / HR-practices. Share one interesting / innovative example with other students in the Discussion forum (course pages / in the end of Module 3 page). Explain also, why you found it to be interesting or innovative. Please do not mention any organization name when describing your example. 2. After that, explore all HR-practices described in the discussion forum by other students. Choose one that you find the most interesting / innovative. Leave your comment (in the discussion forum) to the student who described the practice and explain, why you chose her / his example. • Please, upload the finalized Powerpoint to Moodle (in PDF-format) + share your experience + leave your comment to the discussion forum at once so teacher will find them all when evaluating your contribution to Module 3.
