Battle from World War II:
The battle that is being discussed here is the famous “Battle of Stalingrad” in the European front. This battle is famous as it was responsible for a major turning point in the victory of the allied forces over the axis powers. The battle is infamous as one of the largest, longest and bloodiest engagements in modern warfare which also included high proportion of hand combats among the soldiers. This battle was fought from 17th of July 1942 till 2nd February 1943.
